Help grow a microfinancing fund for studio upgrades!
The Austin Creative Alliance has established a microlending program offering East Austin Studio Tour (E.A.S.T.) artists low-interest loans with forgiving payment plans so that they can make improvements to their studios and get them up to code in time for E.A.S.T. (November 12 – 20). This program will help artists sustain their livelihoods in centrally located, live/work spaces from which they can make and sell their art.
Many artists who rely on the annual East Austin Studio Tour (E.A.S.T.) are facing a challenge: due to state and federal regulations, they may need to make upgrades to their studios in order to participate in E.A.S.T.
Your donation will provide much needed dollars that will directly enhance artists spaces and help retain Austin's most important creative assets: the Artists! Your money will continue to work its magic in Austin, too: As the funds are repaid, they will be re-lent to new applicants, ad infinitum!
